Apple Cider Mimosas with a Chai Spice Sugar Rim

These fall inspired mimosas are made with apple cider instead of orange juice, and they have a chai spice sugar rim for extra spice and flavor!

Ingredients

For the chai sugar rim

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

For the mimosas

  • 2-3 ounces apple cider (per drink)
  • champagne or prosecco, chilled
  • cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. To make the chai sugar rim, combine the sugar, cardamom, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and ginger on a plate and stir or use your fingers to combine.

  2. Moisten the rims of your champagne flute with apple cider and rim in the chai sugar. Pour 2-3 ounces of apple cider into the glass and top with champagne. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and serve.
