Mocha Cold Brew Cashew Smoothie

This Mocha Cold Brew Cashew Smoothie is the perfect way to start out your morning because it's coffee and breakfast in one! It's filled with frozen bananas and cashews for creaminess, dates for sweetness, cold brew, cocoa powder, vanilla, and a little sea salt! It's insanely delicious and you can add your favorite smoothie add-ins to it! I love adding collagen, hemp hearts, or chia seeds!

Ingredients

  • 2 medium bananas, previously sliced and frozen
  • 2 medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews, soaked for 4 hours or overnight
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened natural cocoa powder*
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups cold brew coffee*
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cashew milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of sea salt
  • collagen powder, chia seeds, or hemp seeds for a little boost! (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a high powdered blender and blend until completely smooth and creamy. Enjoy immediately!

Recipe Notes

*You can also substitute cacao powder.
*This is how I make cold brew coffee at home, but you can certainly buy it from the store to make things super easy!
*This is the collagen I use and I love it! It's tasteless and blends really well into smoothies!
