12oz.fresh black mission figs, halved (10-12 figs)
3.2oz.dark chocolate, chopped (I used 72%)
1/2tsp.coconut oil
Topping ideas:
chia seeds
goji berries
cacao nibs
matcha green tea powder
toasted coconut
sea salt
granola
chopped nuts
hemp seeds
dried fruit
mini chocolate chips
Instructions
Place chopped dark chocolate in a medium microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between. Mine took about 1 1/2 minutes. Stir in coconut oil while still hot.
Dip figs in chocolate and sprinkle with toppings of choice. Let dry on parchment or wax paper and refrigerate until set, at least an hour. These stay in the fridge for a couple days, or you can freeze them for up to a month!
