These Dark Chocolate Malted Martinis are a perfect after dinner drink or fun cocktail to serve this holiday season! They're wonderful to make for Halloween, or for when you want a sweet treat! They're made with a homemade dark chocolate fudge sauce, chocolate malt powder, chocolate liqueur, and vodka!
Begin by making the chocolate fudge sauce. In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, and half of the chocolate. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat slightly and simmer gently for a couple minutes or until chocolate has melted. Remove from heat and add remaining chocolate, butter, and vanilla. Stir to combine and until all chocolate has melted. Set aside to cool completely before making the cocktails.
To make the cocktails, pour some of the dark chocolate fudge sauce on a small plate and some crushed chocolate malted milk balls on another. Rim the glass in the salted caramel, then rim in the crushed malted milk balls to adhere. Drizzle some of the chocolate fudge sauce on the inside of the glass. Fill the glass with crushed ice. Add a few ice cubes to a cocktail shaker. Add the vodka, creme de cacao, chocolate fudge sauce, chocolate malt powder, half and half, and chocolate bitters. Shake for 20-30 seconds, then pour into glass. Enjoy!
