Sparkling Blood Orange Sangria

This Sparkling Blood Orange Sangria is the perfect beverage to serve at brunch during the holidays! It's filled with champagne, freshly squeezed blood orange juice, blood orange soda, Grand Marnier, ginger brandy, a touch of simple syrup for sweetness, honeycrisp apples, pears, and sliced blood oranges! Super festive and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed blood orange juice
  • 1/4 cup Grand Marnier
  • 1/4 cup ginger brandy
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1 honeycrisp apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 pear, thinly sliced
  • 2 blood oranges, sliced
  • 1 (11.2 ounce) can Italian blood orange soda
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle champagne, chilled
  • crushed ice for serving

Instructions

  1. To a large pitcher, add the blood orange juice, Grand Marnier, ginger brandy, and simple syrup. Stir to combine. Add the honeycrisp apple, pear, and blood orange slices. Add the blood orange soda and champagne and stir to combine. Serve immediately over crushed ice!

Recipe Notes

*To make the simple syrup, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir for 30 seconds until dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool completely before using for the cocktails. Will keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!
