I am not a huge sweets person, as mentioned before….but, if coffee is involved, I’m always in. These are so delicious and SO simple. You most likely have everything on hand for these and the take absolutely no time to make.
For these blondies, I used Smitten Kitchen’s “Infinitely Adaptable Blondie Recipe”.
There are addition recommendations at the bottom, and I added 1 T. espresso powder, 2 tsp. instead of 1 tsp. vanilla, and a 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips, and a 1/4 cup of semisweet chocolate chips.
This recipe makes a small batch in a 9×9, and I cut them into tiny bite size “fudge like” pieces and they were perfect for that little sweet craving.
Coffee and chocolate..what a great combo.
