Grapefruit Watermelon Shandy Beergaritas
If you’ve been reading for awhile, you know my love for margaritas goes deep. I’m not much of a drinker at all, but you can count on me drinking some margaritas. And some red wine. And the occasional IPA. I know I’ve said this probably a million times by now. But it’s true! And THIS margarita absolutely screams summer to me.

And since summer is kind of on its way out..I though what better way to savor these summer days than with a margarita filled with fresh grapefruit juice and watermelon shandy?!

If you haven’t tried watermelon shandy, you’re missing out. It’s so delicious and summery and not too sweet. If you like fruity beers, you’ll love it. They aren’t something I could drink several of, but one or two is perfect. And added to these margs, it’s just delicious.

Immediately after tasting these, my mom said “OMG. These would be so perfect to enjoy while laying out at the pool.” And I completely agree. They just want to make you chill and relax in the sun.

Which I haven’t done nearly enough of this summer.

Definitely going to make it a point to spend as much time outside as I can to enjoy these last few weeks! I’m looking forward to fall so much because it’s my favorite, but I’m not a fan of what comes after it..I’m such a baby in the cold.

But let’s not think about that! Back to the shandy. If you can’t find the watermelon one, you could use a lemon or grapefruit shandy too! I just love what the watermelon does to these drinks. And the watermelon balls make them extra cute!

And who doesn’t love boozy soaked fruit?!

Grapefruit Watermelon Shandy Beergaritas

Pretty sure that’s a lot of people’s favorite part! So good that I even made a recipe dedicated to it. If you haven’t tried them yet, you MUST!

Grapefruit Watermelon Shandy Beergaritas

To these margaritas, I used my usual base recipe. Freshly squeezed lime juice, tequila, Grand Marnier, and simple syrup. I don’t make a margarita unless they contain these ingredients. They’re so perfect together. Then, I usually add different fruits and/or juices, and whatever other flavorings I’m feeling.

For these, just the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and watermelon shandy.

If you wanted to make these for a crowd, you could make them pitcher style too. I’d maybe add everything except for the beer, and then top it off when you’re ready to serve so it doesn’t lose its bubbles.

Because these are the kinds of drinks you wanna share with friends!

And with tons of chips, guac, and tacos of course.
