(This post is sponsored by Sprouts! Thank you so so much for reading and supporting the brands that I love!)

When I heard the news, (actually saw the sign while driving), I nearly crashed my car I was so shocked. True story. I could NOT believe that we had a Sprouts opening in my very own hometown!

If you’ve never been to Sprouts, it’s a health focused grocery store offering fresh, natural and organic foods at fantastic prices. It’s basically my heaven. From the incredible selection of fresh produce, bulk bins with everything you could imagine, and their inventory of health food brands, it’s such an amazing store to shop at! It is an incredible store for the everyday cook looking to eat a little healthier and more affordably, but also for people like me who are constantly developing and eating healthy recipes!

Even if you aren’t local to the Ellicott City area, there are tons of Sprouts stores across the nation! But if you are, you need to check the Ellicott City location out when it opens on March 14th!

Sprouts currently operates in 15 states and they will continue to expand by opening stores in Maryland, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Washington in 2018. They’re actually opening about 30 new stores this year! Ellicott City is the first Sprouts location in Maryland, which is super exciting!

I mean, just look at their produce selection! When I lived in Los Angeles a couple years ago, the only place I would shop was Sprouts, just because of their incredible selection and the fact that I cook super produce based and seasonally, and their selection was always the freshest and the best price.

I honestly couldn’t believe how great the prices were when I first started going. For someone on a budget, especially living in L.A., shopping there was an absolute MUST. I can’t begin to contain my excitement about the opening of this one in Ellicott City!

Sprouts’ unmatched produce selection is what gives the store its appeal to such a large audience. And when I say unmatched, I mean unmatched. Their produce prices are on average 20 to 25 percent below traditional supermarkets. Crazy, right?!

You can probably tell how much I love produce by now, so this is super important to me!

Oh, the bulk bins. I could spend all day in there. Since I do a lot of recipe testing, development, and photography every day, finding quality and variety of traditionally more expensive ingredients like nuts and specialty grains is crucial! This is where I love to stock up and/or get exact amounts of things I need for specific recipes. It’s great!

If you are local to the Ellicott City area, I hope to see you at the store! And as always, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions about the store or the opening!
