I’ve always been a margaritas on the rocks girl. It’s actually my favorite adult beverage. I don’t think I’ve ever ordered a frozen margarita, or made my own for that matter. My mom is a huge fan of them frozen, so she inspired me to make these. And my best friend’s mom makes the BEST frozen margs, so I figured I’d try them out with the plethora of strawberries I’ve been hoarding all summer!
These couldn’t be easier to make, and they’re so refreshing. All you need is puréed fresh strawberries, tequila of course, Grand Marnier, freshly squeezed lime juice, simple syrup, and ice! SO SO good.
The berry purée adds that extra dimension of sweetness and wonderful strawberry flavor. I can’t get enough of all the summer berries! I’ll be so sad when blueberries and strawberries go back up to $2135532 per pint.
These could also be made ahead of time and thrown in the freezer before your guests arrive! Or if you just want to make them for yourself and pull them out when you’re ready, I wouldn’t judge you at all. Sounds like a lovely idea in fact.
Keeping things short and sweet on this wonderful Friday because it’s my last day of vacation and I figured you’d wanna go make these ASAP to start your weekend!
