I can’t think of a more summery dessert/adult beverage/glass of deliciousness. This is SO GOOD YOU GUYS. It’s literally THREE ingredients and soooo amazing. I want to eat it all summer. Oh wait, summer is almost over. How did this happen?!
Let’s talk about this granita. If you’ve never had granita, it’s a fancy name for a slushy. Kind of like the snowballs you ate as a kid, but more slushy and soft. It’s made by blending fruit and sugar together and freezing it, and then scraping it with a fork so it turns into slush! It’s genius and so easy to make.
Since the peaches are amazing right now, I decided to make this peachy rosé version. I LOVE a good, juicy peach in the summer, and I love a good glass of dry rosé too. So I thought, why not put them together?
I’m so glad I did.
All you have to do is combine peaches, sugar, and rosé in a blender, pour it in a dish, and freeze it. It’s seriously THAT easy.
This would be so perfect to entertain with too. It’s one of those desserts that looks and sounds fancy, but couldn’t be easier. Don’t you love those? Especially in the summer when you don’t feel like baking.
Even though this is “technically” a dessert, you could totally eat/drink these for happy hour. I may have done it myself. They are so refreshing and would be super fun for brunch too!
Basically, these are amazing any time of day and you should totally make them asap!
Peach Rosé Granita
This peach rosé granita is only 3 ingredients and it's SO easy to make! It's made by blending rosé, peaches, and sugar, and freezing it to make a slushy!
Ingredients
- 4 peaches, peeled and diced
- 3/4 cup rosé (I used a dry rosé)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
Instructions
Combine peaches, rosé, and sugar in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass 8x8 baking dish (or any baking dish close to that size). Cover with plastic wrap. Freeze for at least 8 hours or up to overnight.
Once finished, remove from freezer and scrape with a fork to form "slush." Serve!
