This Pear Ginger Champagne Punch is a super festive, 4 ingredient cocktail to make for New Years Eve! It’s filled with champagne, pear juice, ginger brandy, and ginger beer! I love to add fresh pear slices and then garnish it with a piece of crystallized ginger!

Can you believe it’s New Years Eve already? I truly cannot. This year just flew by. From writing my first cookbook to my first full year of self-employment, 2018 has been incredibly good to me, and I feel unbelievably lucky. It has definitely been the toughest year of my life in so many ways, and an incredible amount of hard work has gone into it, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I feel incredibly blessed to be here, and I have all of you to thank for it!

I wish I could cheers with one of these with all of you, but sharing this SUPER simple recipe today will have to do! You can whip this up in literally minutes, and it’s SO good. Easy to drink, bubbly, a little bit sweet, and spicy from the ginger beer.

If you already have cocktail plans for tonight, this is a fantastic recipe to make for brunch, any day of the year.

My favorite way to make it is pitcher style, and then just serve it up as guests arrive. I made it for my annual cookie exchange this year, and everyone was arriving at different times, and it worked out perfectly!

It was a huge hit, and I wish I would’ve tripled or quadrupled it!

My favorite way to serve it is over crushed ice with a piece of crystallized ginger and a couple extra slices of pear. So simple and pretty!

And the best part, is that it’s only 4 ingredients! Not counting the sliced pears and crystallized ginger. All you need is a bottle of champagne, pear juice (I find this in the regular juice aisle, and it’s sometimes labeled as pear nectar – it’s thicker than typical juice), ginger beer, and ginger brandy!

It’s soooo good and all of you ginger lovers will go crazy for it.

I’ll be ringing in 2019 with one of these in hand and probably one more cheeseboard!

Sending all of you a big virtual cheers and a huge hug for being here this year! xoxo

Ingredients

  • 1 D'Anjou pear, thinly sliced, plus extra for garnish, if desired
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle champagne
  • 1 cup pear nectar*
  • 1/2 cup ginger brandy*
  • 2 (6.7 ounce) bottles ginger beer
  • crystallized ginger pieces for garnish

Instructions

  1. To a large pitcher, add the thinly sliced pear. Pour in the champagne, pear juice, brandy, and ginger beer. Stir to combine. Serve over crushed ice and garnish with extra slices of pear and a piece of crystallized ginger.

Recipe Notes

*I find pear nectar in the regular juice aisle. It's thicker than regular juice and it's not clear. If you can't find it in the regular juice aisle, sometimes it's in the international/hispanic foods aisle.
*If you can't find ginger brandy, regular brandy works just as well!
