I am obsessed with making these snack bites/balls lately. These actually taste like brownies! Trust me. They are perfect to take with you on-the-go, or to have as a pre or post workout snack! Or a healthy dessert..or for all the time those times when you just want something sweet. You all know who you are…

Healthy "Brownie" Bites

Course Snack
Cuisine Healthy
Prep Time 20 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes
Servings 30 -35 balls
Author Molly (SpicesinMyDNA)

Ingredients

  • 18 large medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 c. oats
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. raw cashews
  • 1/4 c. almond butter (the drippy natural kind)
  • 1 1/2 T. flaxseed meal
  • 1 T. honey

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in food processor and pulse until all ingredients are incorporated and the mixture forms somewhat of a "dough". Form into balls and refrigerate until ready to eat. I like to refrigerate for at least 2 hours before consuming. They last for up to a week in the fridge!
